Dermatology Awareness Group - Canada

About Us

Our Organization

DAG-C is committed to helping Canadians.

DAG-C is building relationships with patients and stakeholders, fostering open dialogue and collaboration to promote a people-first approach to skin health. Our work focuses on two key pillars: awareness and support.

Through our initiatives, we aim to raise public awareness about dermatological conditions, advocate for improved access to care and treatment, and provide essential resources and support for those living with skin diseases.

We are committed to empowering patients, amplifying their voices, and working towards a future where everyone can access the dermatological care they deserve.

What is a Patient Advocacy Group?

A patient advocacy group is an organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and empowering individuals affected by a particular health condition. These groups work to:

  • Raise Awareness: Educating the public, healthcare professionals, and policymakers about the realities of living with specific conditions.

  • Advocate for Change: Influencing policies, healthcare access, and funding to improve patient care and treatment options.

  • Support Patients & Families: Providing resources, community connections, and emotional support to those affected.

  • Advance Research & Innovation: Partnering with researchers and industry leaders to drive progress in treatment and care.

At Dermatology Awareness Group – Canada, we are committed to amplifying the voices of Canadians. We want to see better care, increased research, and a more inclusive healthcare system that recognizes the unique challenges of dermatological conditions.
